MC "Technocor" LTD has its own production of powder metallurgy, located at 13 Biologicheskaia str., Kharkov, 61030, Ukraine. Production capacity of our company can produce different hard-material products up to 50 tons per year and consists of the following sections:


1. The grinding and mixing section

At this stage of production, we obtain thehard materialpowder with required chemical and grain size composition. Preparations of the powders arecarried out in ball mills. Grinding and mixing ofhard materialcomponents of the powder is carried out in a protective medium of grinding fluid. After mixing, the mixture of powders is subjected to vacuum drying, packaging in sealed containers and labeling.

2. The plasticization section

In this section, the hard materialpowder is mixed with a plasticizer to improve the compressibility.


3. The cold pressing section

In this sectionare formed semi-finished parts of hard materialproducts on hydraulic presses of high pressure in the press molds.

4. The section of vacuum sintering and HIP

At this stage of production, hard material products are sintered at a temperature 1350-1550 ° C and high vacuum. We have equipment for HIP for the production of special responsible products.


 

Our company is ready to consider the possibility of production any products by powder metallurgical technique according to customer drawings.
The following table shows the chemical composition and the basic mechanical and physical properties of our materials.
In the table are described features for medium-grained alloys with a grain size of the carbide phase of 2-5 microns. From these types is possible to produce fine-grained alloys (F) –a grain size is 0.5-2 microns and coarse-grained alloys (C) - a grain size is 7-12 microns.

5. Mechanical-repair section

We have our ownrepairdepartment, which consists of turning, drilling and milling machines, and allowingto fully servicing own production. This minimizes the production downtimeunder repair.


6. The laboratory

The Entry Control of raw materials is performed by using X-ray fluorescence analysis.Technical Control of finished products includes the determination of hardness, density, flexural strength and metallographic studies of the microstructure of control samples from each batch of manufactured products, as well as the control of the density and geometric dimensions to finished products.A quality certificate on production batchis filledbased on the performed control.

Our experienced technologists will study drawings and working conditions in detail provided by your product, choose the material of the product, design and order the pressmold. The control of the production process will be carried out at all stages, which allows producing the hard material products of high quality at competitive prices.
